Creative Movement Program
Come learn through movement!
EDUCATORS NOW KNOW: Training young children in the concepts of movement, sequencing, patterning, and spatial relationships lays a strong foundation for development of reading, mathematics, and other educational skills.

What makes creative movement so unique?
We have fun listening and moving to music! Children learn to use their bodies, senses, and creativity to explore space and rhythm.
We learn to put music and movement together using parachutes, scarves, lummi sticks, rattles, balls, hoops and other props to encourage their body and mind to work together and to gain confidence in their own movement abilities.
We develop physical and cognitive skills such as balance, coordination, cooperation, concentration, and self-assurance through running, jumping, walking, skipping, leaping and stretching - movement skills that later become useful in a variety of physical activities including dance and athletics.
We gently introduce the basics of classroom behavior, manners, and social skills in a structured and safe environment while instilling the emotional and physical confidence to freely discover and create.
